Client: Energy Upgrade California – California Public Utilities Commission

Role: In- depth Interviewer and Qualitative Data Analyst

Research: Energy Upgrade California (EUC) is an energy efficiency program for California homeowners. As a consultant with DNV GL, I worked on a program evaluation to investigate the strengths and areas for improvement in order to guide program improvement and measure program impact. Specifically, we were interested in finding out: how do customers and contractors use this program? What does success look like?

In coordination with a large, statewide survey of homeowners in California, I researched and wrote five case studies of successful business working in this market.

Outcome: The case studies provided a framework to interpret findings from a statewide survey, and plan future program design.
